About the event
In this workshop I bring the same principles of Forest bathing, a practice developed in Japan in 1980 which has become a preventive healthcare intervention to help manage stress, anxiety, depression. Through a number of invitations, participants can access Nature and its numerous healing benefits. The workshop is an invitation to Pause, reconnect with Nature and getting in touch with ourselves.
The scent of the trees and plants, the sunlight playing through the leaves, the fresh and clear air, give us a sense of comfort and help us to relax and to think more clearly.
The workshop combines elements of breathing practices, silent walking meditation and seated contemplation to help participants getting into a space of calmness and peace.
Please bring a yoga mat, some water, a pen and a journal for the day.
Also wear layers (as it might be cold) and comfortable shoes.
Entrance from Tresilian. Please ensure you arrive 5 mins earlier to allow time for reaching the meeting point at 11am.
