Group Ceremonies
“There is beauty in the journey, regardless of the outcome.
Let’s grieve and hope, and fight together.
-Marie White-
As someone who has experienced sudden deaths and suicide in the family, I know your struggles.
I know what it’s like to wake up in a world that suddenly feels unfamiliar, the questions, the stories the mind spins, the endless loops that seem to lead nowhere.
In this space, we come together not to be "fixed," but to show up for ourselves and for each other.
In silence. In stories. In shared moments.
We gather not to escape the pain, but to allow it. To hold it gently. To hold ourselves gently.
Here, we remember our humanness, vulnerable, and at times, broken.
But we also remind ourselves of our greatest qualities and strengths: resilience, compassion, and kindness.
Coming together to heal
I facilitate these ceremonies for friends or families members who have lost a loved one and wish to pause, remember, and connect.
This is not a formal service.
It’s not about getting closure or saying the “right” words. It’ about honouring the person who has passed on this earthly journey by celebrating our life and this breath we carry.
What happens during a ceremony?
The ceremony typically lasts between 2 and 3 hours, and can take place in a forest setting, a quiet natural space, or any location in Dublin agreed upon by both sides. I’m also open to traveling for ceremonies elsewhere.
Here’s a sense of the flow:
We begin by settling into the space with a herbal tea ceremony, a moment to arrive fully, to breathe, and to acknowledge this sacred space we're entering together.
From here, we move into gentle guided practices centered around resilience, gratitude, compassion and kindness. These practices offer space for inner reflection and collective presence.
There is also some time here for sharing, poetry reading and storytelling.
We close the space with intention, often through a small ritual, spoken words, or a collective gesture that helps us release, integrate and return with a little more softness, strength, and peace.
